CONSTRUCTION
Devon Canada, Jackfish SAGD Project
This grassroots 30,000 barrel a day facility peaked at 180 tradesmen during its 2 year construction period. Studon worked hand in hand with the client and other contractors to adapt to the changing scope of the project during construction to meet both construction timelines and safety targets. The multi-million dollar electrical and instrumentation contract was completed in the spring of 2007.

Cenovus, Christina Lake - SAGD Pilot Plant
Studon provided upwards of 80 qualified electrical and instrumentation tradesmen during the peak of construction to complete this multi-million dollar contract. This grassroots 10,000 barrel a day facility came online with a ll safety targets being met and with the electrical or instrumentation never entering the projects critical path.

Cenovus, Foster Creek
Studon has provided over 50 tradesmen to Cenovus at their Foster Creek facility completing several Electrical and Instrumentation work packages both at the plant for the ongoing expansion of the facility, and at several of the offsite locations. Working on the Cold Lake Weapons Air Range brings about unique challenges regarding safety and manpower. Studon has worked together with all parties involved to ensure that all standards are being met.

Total, Joslyn - SAGD Plant
Studon provided over 60 qualified electrical and instrumentation tradesmen during the peak of construction for Phase II of this facility. The scope consisted of all facets of electrical, instrumentation and field wiring for the 10,000 bpd plant. The facility was online for time and budget, as well as all safety targets being met.

Petro-Canada, MacKay River - De-oiling Project
This de-oiling project involved a team of 45 skilled tradesmen over a 9 month period. The scope of work consisted of construction in the existing SAGD plant to streamline Petro-Canada's process. The project was achieved on time and with all safety expectations being met.
INSTRUMENTATION
Ferus Gas Industries, Liquid Nitrogen Plant
Studon provided installation and commissioning of a Fisher Delta V control system, as well as field instruments and process analyzers to complete this fast tracked E&I contract.
Husky Oil, Ram River - DCS Upgrade
The multi-million dollar E&I contract for the DCS upgrade at this large scale processing facility involved the changeover from pneumatic to electronic transmitters, and the expansion of an existing Delta V control system. While working in a live plant, more than 60 tradesmen met the challenge of changing out over one thousand process points.

Nova Chemicals, Joffre Facility
Studon has provided maintenance, capital project, and turnaround support since 1997 to one of the world’s largest producers of ethylene and polyethylene.
